To restore default group policies for workstation or server try the following commands For Workstation (i.e XP) Try the following command at the command prompt Click here to copy the following block secedit /configure /DB secedit.sdb /CFG %systemroot%\inf\defltwk.inf /log >secedit.log /verbose For Server (i.e. Windows 2003 Server) Try the following command at the command prompt Click here to copy the following block secedit /configure /DB secedit.sdb /CFG %systemroot%\inf\defltsv.inf /log >secedit.log /verbose
